Rain Drop Face- First Illustrator Duplication of Momiji Stickers

While my husband was in a confrence in Florida, I spent a couple of hours a day (mostly because I came down with a  heat rash) in the room playing with Adobe Illustrator.  After lots and lots of googling I finally was able to reproduce the first (easiest) of the stickers. Yay! Plus, even though I got a heat rash for the first time in my life, I still got nicely tan. Double Yay!

Doodle of a Girl- First Attempt Using My New Bamboo Craft

I just got a new Bamboo Craft pen & touch pad, and this is my first time doodling with it.  Its fun! Its like a super-sized mouse touch pad that comes with a 'pen', so it enables you to draw like you were drawing with pen and paper.  I used Illustrator to draw this.

Zentangle

I created my first Zentangle today.   I ended up doing it very quickly and want to re-do it all lol.   I just found out about this new art form this week, and its a very cool idea.  The general idea is that you take a square, draw lines (threads) through it and in each "box" you do a repetative pattern (a Tangle) and the goal is that its a time to relax and wind down.  I think next time I want to make my threads more rounded,  take a little time with each Tangle and work on a table instead of my lap.
